Now in the couple of short summer months that we Brits get a few of us like throwing ourselves of bridges and cliffs. Was just wondering if anyone knew of anywhere i can indulge myself in cancun? Last time i came we went to Xel Ha, although the park was awesome, the cliff jump was very poor only being like 10 foot or so. :angel1::angel1::flaguk:
Sorry to say but no....... Ik Kil has hosted the Red Bull cliff diving competition annually - but thats a 2.5hr drive and don't think they will allow you to plunge the 88ft from the rim to the water below. The hoist a platform above the cenote so its closer to 100ft when the divers come. Highest point they let you jump/dive from inside was about 15ft. Absolutely gorgeous, our group had a blast that day!
aww well, never mind. its not like its gonna ruin my holiday. was looking into going to ik kil with the chitzen itza tour. It does look beautiful.
