So we're looking at returning to TTR for 5 nights in Nov. We have never tried to book this far out but figure maybe we'll get a better deal doing it early.We have checked all the mojor travel sites so far Expedia is the cheapest hands down, 1350.00 5 nights with good flights out of Chicago, just wondering if anyone can offer up an other companies to try? We have looked through all that our posted in the deals thread Steve has posted. Any thoughts on whether we're making a mistake booking this soon? Thanks for any input :aktion030:
Going mid week is usually cheaper. Prices usually don't go down until 6 to 1 week before departure, if at all.
I think you might wait as fuel prices may come down and flights might be cheaper. Who knows, it is like the stock market. Damned if you do and damned if you don't. Enjoy your trip, Don
we book in jul/aug and prices are lowest...at least in years past. We always have booked with orbitz, they had a $200.00 promotion code that took 200.00 of your package but they have since discontinued it. I hear it may come back in Aug though.
I've had the most luck with expedia, we just booked 10 days in sept with flights from chicago nonstop for $1760 with insurance. The next closest competitor being cheapcaribbean at $2100. I used Expedia for a trip last year as well and had no problems, it was also the cheapest i could find then. U can save a lil more by booking your transportation to and from the airport separately from when you book your trip.
1760.00 for 10 days is a great deal! , We will use USA private transfers, can't beat em in our opinion.Thanks for the feed back.
We booked in Jan for our trip Oct.17-24 for 7 days out of Ohare with direct flights for $1580 for the two of us on Travelocity.. as of last week now up to $1750. Still very cheap. We have 18 in our group...come join us ! Wally :lotsofmichaelfs::lotsofmichaelfs: Two of these partiers could be you !
Wish we could but we are pretty much set on the Nov date,I think leaving right after the holiday and going over the weekend is affecting the price .
