Tips on Rooms

I have seen a few threads regarding rooms and people immediately wanting a new one. We are newbies, so tell us what are some room tips. Would you rather have a room near Patty-Os in exchange for a 3rd floor room? Is being around the sexy pool better than looking the other way?

No Jacuzzi room, just a regular.

Our room was right above patty-o. Great view, convenient, and extremely loud. After some discussion with the front desk, we got a much quieter room. When you hear that those rooms are loud, believe it!! We have friends that love those rooms, us, not so much.

 

We had a great (standard) room with an ocean view right off PatyO's last time. It also had a view of the back of the sexy pool. It is quite noisy with the music playing in PatyO's until about 2 AM but we got used to it (or just stayed up late enough where we fell asleep after they quit playing).

Last time we checked in she gave us 2 different rooms to look at and let us pick which we liked better.

 

When I checked in I asked her to give me quite room, but if view is good then I don't mind noisy one too. I finally took a room on 3rd floor, in the corner 2301, and partial view of ocean and not too far from pattyo.
If you the type of person who is not gonna sleep before 2AM, and want to enjoy every night in pattyo area (all costume party happens here) then I would suggest get room close to pattyo, so you don't need to walk too much back to your room. If you are looking to relax and sleep early then get something close to quite pool.
By the way I never entered my room sober, so I don't mind noise lol

 

We like 3111. Go out your front door and you are at paty-o and go out the sliding doors and you are at the sexy pool.

We were in 2202. We partied like rock stars so having a room mere steps from the party was perfect. We could escape for a breather or bathroom quickly and be right back. If you plan on sleeping instead of enjoying the night life another room (or resort) would probably be better for you...lol

 

We would just like to have one that isn't wet and reeks of mold.

 

I'm a huge fan of the 5000 block... Pretty much as far from PatyO's as possible... Stinks to stumble all the way back, but super quiet all day and night!

 

We like the 5000 block as well close to the sexy pool ... but a stumble back from PatyO's!

 

I think all the rooms seem to have that mold smell except for the newly reinvented section.
