I haven't seen this in a while so I'm posting this, please tip, I know tips are suppose to be included but many of the workers only bring home about 10 bucks a week after deductions, so a dollar tip here and there, really helps the people that serve us so well, So bring a few dollars with you and share them with any worker you feel is doing a good job!
So true, I suggest $100-$150 per week in $1 bills for drinks and $5s and $10s for maids and wait staff. The staff is what makes this place so great so let em know you appreciate them!
Yep i bring my american dollar each trip but I need to find someone from us that can brig me dollar billa i'm from canada so it's harder Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Is that 10 bucks a week for real? I though it was really more than that since mexicans seems to have much more wealth than people in dominican rep or cuba...
As to the original post, try to keep in mind that it's not just the bartenders who make the days at TTR so much fun, the ladies who make up the rooms for us at night and all the guys working the grounds for those long, long days are busting their butts for all of us, too!
We totally agree 100% and don't limit tipping to the workers you are always in cotact with. Tip the grounds keepers,The repair guys and others that you don't see and serve you every day. Trust me...It makes their day to tip them. They work hard to make everyones vacations awesome and they do a great job
I keep some tip $$ in our beach bag. Even if the cash gets wet, it is never turned down by the staff.
No, that's not accurate. The minimum wage is about $25/week, which is incredibly low. A typical wage in hotels and such is more than double that. Which is still incredibly low.
