Ok, so we fly out the morning of the 10th (May 10-14), and I can throw some stuff in a suitcase and roll out. However, the wife can not. So we (she) is wondering what can and can't be worn on these theme nights. I'm all about participating when it's possible for me to do so and so is she. We have some costumes but are gathering more, but 1) she wants ideas and 2) are there restrictions as to what can be worn. Sorry for the blah blah blah, but we are TTR virgins and want to join in ALL the fun. Thanks in advance.
Asking questions, especially before your first trip is wise. Plenty of people more than willing to help. costumes for the ladies really only have a few rules. Cover the nips and the coochie, at least partly. Underwear is completely optional. You will find people more conservative and there will be dresses made of basically strings, some may be painted and naked and white night almost always has some women in a men's white dressed shirt only, and often with just one button attached. Hard to get afoul of the rules by showing too much, and otherwise, I haven't seen any restrictions.
Truly, you'll be amazed at seeing all of the things that everyone wears. One year, I literally saw a guy walking around at night with ONLY a sock on his "johnson." Scouts honor. So if that tells you and your wife anything, then don't worry about it! Step outside the box and wear things you'd never wear in the traditional public because TTR is the only place you can do it. Don't return home with regrets because you were too scared to wear one of your outfits. Most of us say less is better. So own your outfits and be fabulous!
