In a well played game, Tigres ace pitcher, Bobby Cramer, flirted with a No Hitter, finally giving up three late hits before being relieved with 2 out in the 9th inning. It is a lot of fun going to these games. Lots of good food options, cold beer, micheladas and more. Good seats for the playoffs are $130, up from $80 for the regular sseason. They would not accept the INAPAM card for the playoff games. Great fun. V usually posts a lot about the games and they are a great value and lots of fun. We almost had a brawl on two occasions but the dugouts did empty. Cooler heads eventually prevailed.
Bobby Cramer That was truly an exciting game and Bobby Cramer lived up to his billing The level of play was the highest I've seen for the Tigres: many plays were very crisp and there were hits when needed Perhaps the team was inspired by Cramer who was extremely economical with his pitches sometimes retiring a side with just four pitches it seemed He seemed hard to read: many times the batters struck out just standing there watching the ball sail over the plate I think his very quick delivery has something to do with it: from the first movement till the ball leaves his hand very little time elapses compared to most pitchers I would say
The Tigres are set to play Oaxaca again tonight at 8 PM in what should be the deciding game: both teams now have two wins apiece in the five game playoff series
