For any Brits out there who have booked through Thomson, I think they are removing it from their catalogue. If you try to check for prices for TTR for any later than around June, it won't show TTR as an option, only Riu and a few other hotels. Might be an error with their system, but I wonder if they are finishing with TTR? If that is so the only option will be Thomas Cook or Alpharooms. Alpharooms are currently looking around £200 more expensive than Thomas Cook, and they don't provide private transfer inclusive like Thomas Cook and Thomsom do either.
Just put search in for July and Thomson showing availability for Temptation, must have just been a blip
We booked with Kenwood Travel, still got it as a package with BA flights and cheaper rates than the other tour companies! :uk1:
Its true Thompsons are nolonger offering the Temptations resourt to their customers I just booke my next trip through Thomas Cook
Anyone booked with Thomas Cook before? Avoided last time because there was a rumour they were going into administration last year. I'm assuming it will be similar if not exactly same as booking through Thomson (although granted prices might rise now with lack of competition!). Must book mine ASAP.
I booked yesterday but seems pretty much the same as Thompsons in regards to the prices ,deposits and what they offer i.e. free transfers and payment dates. I’m trying to get info about the inflight entertainment but haven’t had much joy I heard that either Thompsons or Thomas Cook were having problems but I can’t remember which, I also heard that they are the same company. I have noticed that many of the Thompsons high street stores have closed down
I normally book with Cooks but when I looked for my July dates last month Cooks couldn't accommodate what I was after, more than 7 nights, from Gatwick late July. Thomson could however so I have booked with them this time. It could just be no availability for the dates you've been searching.....
Thomas Cook is not going bust, They invested in another company which ment they made a loss last year. More Media Propaganda. We had no problem booking with Thomas Cook. :headbanger:
