I doubt this is going to be up for long, so I am pasting the highlights here. I have to assume that, based on the guests who DO go to this resort, that you may be severely overweight as you read this. I apologize if I offend you, but frankly, you should consider instead of going here, going to buy a pair of running shoes and start a new active lifestyle today and come visit a year or two from now. You will live longer and be happier and the resort will gradually get more attractive overall. I know the hotel can't control who books there, but people who look like they are one triple-cheeseburger away from a quadruple bypass are not a pleasant part of the scenery. I've never seen so many obese people eating bad food and drinking super sugary drinks in my entire life. Even when I went to this resort in 2010, there was a few fit and attractive guests. This time, I swear to god it was 85% severely obese with at least 15 people over 300lbs and a few over 400lbs. I'm not exaggerating. Remember, this is a TOPLESS OPTIONAL resort, and for some reason, those people always take the option. You have to ask yourself, do you want to be surrounded by people who have to waddle when they walk, eating cheeseburgers topless in the sun? Well, do you? And if you're a young, fit couple do you want a hulking mass of 400lbs breathing heavily next to you while you are topless by the pool? Yeah, probably not so much. Drinks are watered down. The foam party was fun and sometimes the guests get involved and dance but mostly they just sit and watch like it was TV or the ridiculous meta-club "Coco Bongo" which I won't review here but it's a club where you stand in one spot and watch a video wall. The DJs were playing music from 30 years ago. Some reviewers ask for variety, I think variety means a mix of MODERN music, but hey, if you want to be sure that no one under 48 wants to come to your resort, keep playing "Don't Stop Believin'" and "AC/DC" and "Cha Cha Slide" on the dance floor. If you're into redneck rock from the 80s, can you please just go down to your local waterin' hole and stare at the more mobile individuals from your own town? Dance club music means Trance, hiphop, DJs like Axwell, Tiesto, Chuckie. Maybe look at what they play in, I don't know, Ibiza or Monaco? Or at a music festival like Coachella or Bonnaroo? I felt like I was in a pool hall next to the steel mill or the paper plant in some Alabama backwater. Amurrica.
I tend to ignore the TTR reviews on TripAdvisor. Usually it's just a bunch of whining and complaining. I know what TTR is truly like and don't need someone else's unwarranted opinion.
Agree...couldn't care less about his opinion of the resort, I was just stunned by his rude comments about the guests. I like to think of TTR as a place where everyone can put the body image crap aside and be free of judgment....then someone like this twit has to come along!
Hard to know what his motivation was...but no one could possible give him one shred of credibility. Something is very very wrong in his world...maybe he'll get the help he so obviously needs.
We have been to Hedo and Breezes in Jamaica and to be honest, the Gals at Temptation are much much prettier than those at either of the Jamaican resorts. By a long shot !!! If this guy has ever been to TTR (and I really doubt it), he went as a single and got into a "spot" of trouble and has decided to take it out on everyone and anyone who was there. He didn't have a good time so its everyones fault , but his!!! lots of people really enjoy posting bad reviews. This guy had 1 review and 1 post.
yep i never go on trip advisor anymore. before my first trip i always did. for some reason i went on today and i saw this tr. what a jack ass!!! really to talk about people like that, well it just smacks as inbred sh t!! glad he wont be going back, and after reading it people of a like mindset dont want to go good riddince!! hope that kind of people stay away perm.
per his profile he lives in SoCal - SoCal West Coast Bias for sure. SoCal folks are much more image conscious than the rest of middle America for sure. Not making excuses, as he certainly has a way of disparaging others, and his nasty comments were best left unsaid. Guy needs to learn to lighten up and enjoy life. No surprise about the complaints about the drinks & DJ - everyone has issues. Drinks can be resolved, just have to tell the bartender exactly how much to pour and how to make them. The DJ, he needs to be put out to pasture, for sure.
May the judge get hit with his gable. I like the cha cha slide, don't stop believing and all the people i meet except the odd creepy guy.
