Thinking about a day pass over to Desire's for the day......any thoughts?

Hey ya'll, well be back to TTR for another week of fun this year from Nov 5th to the 11th and were thinking about passing up on doing the couples massage again and just spending that money on a couple of day passes over to Desire's for the whole day and was wondering if it would be worth it or not? We love TTR so much and just cant believe it could get any funner, anywhere else. We were torn between going to TTR and Desires last year when making our vacation planes but were so glad we chose TTR in the end. Now since we've been to TTR and since we both love to be naked so much, our curiosity is just getting the best of us!!

 

So we love TTR for a bunch of reasons and love Desire for a bunch of different reasons. So it depends on the individual as to whether it is a fit. Keeping it positive here is why WE love Desire. I am sure the contrarians will come in to refute our points so I will once again add this is what WE like about Desire. May not be the same for all.

The Mrs likes to be naked. I like the option. And at Desire whatever I feel like doing that day seems to be just fine.

We love jacuzzis and drinks and jacuzzis and drinks together at NIGHT with a bar tender just blows our mind ha. Quite a concept

The level of quality drinks available to the regular non premier folks is better. I have always been able to get my grey goose. They don’t typically run out and when they do the bartender will frequently go to another bar to get me more

We find the service to be top notch. A different level than other places.

You are in close intimate quarters with others around the pool, in the pool, at the jacuzzi and at the disco. Easier to have a conversation. Just a very open friendly place.

We experience more variety in music for dancing and when the Mrs makes a request it is usually played (not always) Not the same playlist every night but sadly still sometimes. This varies based upon trip

We can do body shots, kiss, kanoodle ha etc without stress of being told we are doing something wrong or to stop by security.

Just a very freeing no rules type of place.

Again just our 2 cents as to why we are happy we eventually gave Desire a try

Wow, that made our curiosity worse now I think lol!!! Sounds like an awesome day pass! Thought it would be cheaper to find out if we liked the atmosphere over there or not with just a day pass instead of finding out it wasn't our jam after paying for a whole week and wished we were back over at TTR. Plus it don't help that its double the price of what we'ed pay at TTR it seems. So yeah, we wanna make sure were not gonna be disappointed before we jump in head first. Thanks for the info, it helps.

 

I was looking into that since I did want to check out Desire but from what I read, some people were saying that Desire is pretty dead during the day because everyone is sleeping it off from partying well into the night! I don't know how long you're allowed to stay on a day pass.

I wish there was a way to book both resorts in one vacation (easily). I was going to book us half and half since Desire is sold out on Friday/Saturday the week we are going, but it was just so much cheaper to buy the plane tickets with the hotel that I ended up doing all 4 nights at Temptation. Since they are both part of the same hotel group it would just be nice if you could mix and match a little more.

 

FYI - there will be no passes available to Desire RM during the week Nov 3 to Nov 10 - a group called Life on the Swingset has a complete resort takeover during that time, also during complete resort takeovers even Premier members cannot go unless they book thru the group at the prices the group sets.

 

I wouldn’t go the day pass route. The fun really starts at the jacuzzi at 5ish. I think you have to depart close to then. Would just be a tease. We booked 4 nights our first visit which was a good taste after first going to TTR but I could see 2 working if you are not sure if it is right for you. By the way if you are looking in the right places it isn’t double the TTR price

You could try to visit Desire Pearl instead then. There are two Desires

 

Another FYI - Passes to either Desire are not purchasable by those staying at Temptation - you "might" be able to negotiate a single pass by sitting through the Premier presentation..... in any event, if you get one, it will cost you about $100 round trip for a taxi.

 

What Kyle said above, I also would put out there, said almost the exact same way. Well, except in my little couplet I'm the one who wants to get nekkid and she's optional about it.

What we've noticed about the "difference" in party-timing between TTR and DRM (Pearl is a bit different the one week we spent there) is that, at TTR, one gets up, thorws off the hangover with some breakfast and coffee (and a smoke if you're a smoker) around 10 a.m.-ish, and is trying to get to the pool to "be in position" by around 11 a.m. Party at the Sexy Pool/beach or even back and forth between both options until between 3 ~ 5 p.m., then go get a room-time break for food, sex, sleep, or combo of those. Then, get up at about 8 p.m., get some food, cleaned up, and be down at Bash at 9 ~ 10 p.m. to start the night's party-party.

At DRM... there's no "break in the action." So, people are chill until a bit later in the day. The pool and beach areas start party popping about 2 ~ 3 p.m., Folks go up to the big jacuzzi about 5 ~ 7 p.m., and when done at the jacuzzi they go back to the room to clean up, get gorgeous, and go to dinner and then it's straight out to the common areas for a show, or a band, etc., then at 10 ~ 11 p.m. the nightclub opens up and people hit it, depending ont he night, fto Midnight ~ 2 a.m. and then depending on party mood, keep it going at the jacuzzi again (stays open until 5 a.m. (!) or down tot he beach, or back tot he room to call it a night.

Each trip has been different, and each one has depended MUCH more on Who was there at the resort, instead of What was there.
