Thinking about a Chichen Itza visit but...

    I'd like to avoid the "Stop n Shop" of packaged tours.
    Are there other alternatives short of renting a car?

    heart set on Chichen Itza? We did an early morning tour of Coba 2 years ago that I think about to this day.

    We did chichen itza 4 years ago and it was incredible well worth the trip

    We booked through viator the guide was very entertaining and informed, left Cancun by 6 am back in town by about 2 so didn't miss much other than a few hours sleep lol, do it rofl
