Looking for some help from the South Florida people. We are staying at he Hollywood Beach Tower at the end of june thru the first week of july and we need some ideas of places to go. Any clubs, restaurants and any other attractions you can think of. We have stayed at the same place 10 years in a row on Singer Island and know all the places to go. This is the first time we are going to the Hollywood area so we will take any help. Thanks
We are about 30 minutes north of Hollywood. Hollywood beach has a board walk, restaurants and live music. Also the Hard Rock hotel (where Anna Nicole Smith died) has a fun atmosphere with gambling and an awesome pool/tiki bar area. We usually go to Fort Lauderdale beach which has Las Olas Blvd. Lots of bars, restaurants and clubs.
Haulover Beach, the most popular nude beach on the East Coast, is just south of Hollywood in Sunny Isles Beach. And, of course, a few miles further south, there's Miami's South Beach, which is a tremendous place to eat, drink, and be merry. Or just people watch.
Haulover beach sounds very interesting, may have to take a ride. Also the Hard Rock Casino will be another night.
We love the Hard Rock...day and night! We rent a cabana/chickee hut at the pool and the VIP service is outstanding. We're not big gamblers but enjoy the live music at the casino. What we enjoy most at night are the restaurant choices on site and the clubs (comedy is our favorite but dancing/jazz is also an option) for after dinner entertainment. Oh, we're not from south Florida but we enjoy that area from time to time! Hope you enjoy your time there!
The Rooftop Resort Rooftop Resort - South Florida's #1 Swinger's Nudist Hotel in Hollywood, FL is nude friendly and within walking distance of Haulover Beach. BYOB to the Rooftop. Rooftop is no 5-star but very unique in what it has to offer. Haulover is the nicest nude beach on the Coast. Puts Sandy Hook, NJ to shame. Lots of aspiring female models who don't want tan lines. Very well kept and safe beach. Large parking lot nearby. PM me for more info if needed.
The rooftop in Hollywood has great advertising. But um... no. An open atrium with guys lounging nude while masturbating was the initial turn off but it was not the only one. Our opinion is a "fail" on an epic scale. Actually the arrival at the front desk in the parkade was like a movie scene out of "men in black" mixed with a nasty dose of the movie taxi driver. You know the one with Jodie Foster. "Classic sleaze" is how my gal so eloquently captured the arrival experience. The room appeared as last updated in the early 70's and the washroom had original fixtures with a tiny sink. Each room has a large glass pane window allowing folks to watch you in your room as they walk around the internal hallway of the central atrium/foyer. Might be of interest to someone if they are exhibitionists. Curtains were available to be drawn shut for privacy but it didn't feel secure. The rooftop..., pool yes, sexy no!! However there was no one saving pool chairs..., so that was a bonus. More naked guys masturbating..... Really !! If you go, please take with you a great sense of adventure & a 3 pack of Lysol.
