I will be there from Aug 13 to 17 and I really want to participate in the CCC theme nites, but I don't have a lot of the attire, so I would have to spend the money, which I don't have that much extra of, then possibly not use. Plus, the resort's theme nites look good too, so I may want to peek at those, being my first time at TTR I'm not sure what to expect. A true dilemma.....can anyone help me decide what to do???

I just checked your dates with the August theme nights, do the best you can, you should be able to get cheap stuff at like Goodwill for like mens shirt night or if you have one already, just a bra and undies underneath, same for Thursday night. costume night, just go as yourself if you want and say you are sexy enough! Monday night, I believe it was black dress night, if you don't have a black dress, maybe a black skirt and tank? Just some ideas, you don't have to go crazy, you don't always have to participate. It doesn't matter what you wear as long as you have a great time! Don't stress!

I agree with Carrie. If you don't have a black dress, wear all black pants/shorts/skirt and top. White Night participation is usually pretty good, but even if you have a top that is primarily white, that's good enough. Don't worry about the resort's other theme nights. Everyone was ignoring them when I was there in April, tho they were very new themes then. Having said that, toga night is an easy one...just bring an old sheet from home and some safety pins! It'll be hot in August...might want to cut it into a mini-toga!

Most people on CCC do not participate in ALL the theme nights. Pick the 2 or 3 that are easiest for you, and don't worry about the rest of the nights.

As stated above. Easiest thing is to see what you've got vs. what you want to do, and then "maybe" go get one new thing -- but only maybe.

Key = Do Not Stress About Vacation

... sort of kills the whole idea.

Looks like there is at least 8 of us dressing up as Nurses (if not more). I didn't buy a costume for this one, I built my own and (white shirt , white skirt) Then grabbed some accessories like a nurses hat and thigh high stockings ....

Make it easy on yourself... :)

DO NOT STRESS!!! I just spent a week there July 15th and NOBODY did the theme nights except white night and Lingerie. I was the ONLY one in the white men's dress shirt. I didnt see anyone else in any other theme night. I brought something for every night and didnt wear them. DO NOT STRESS!

The Nurses night is something I think I originally suggested because I dig it, I'm not sure that it's ever been an actual CCC theme night -- we've never had one happen while we were there. I think we could ask Partydoll, she'd probably know that for certain.

What happened to Iteach5th is precisely why we want to have folks connected up on here, so that there's a group of people linked together who are committing to each other as to what night they each want to participate "in theme," etc.

Nobody is requiring anything, keep that in mind. But, it could be a sexy fun time if a group of say, eight or so couples showed up looking for all the world as the casst from the next "Dr. Adventures" porn flick, that'd be a fun group to hang out with and be a part of, right? Likewise, the Men's business shirt and heels night, there's another sexy group to be partying with, even if it's only a group of 5 to 6 ladies with their guys -- and let me just say -- as one of the priviliged group of guys, it's going to make me/us feel great, spoiled, egotistical, revved-up, flirty, affectionate, .... and so on and so forth. Just sayin'.

The theme nights aren't for everyone, all the time, only a suggestion so as to expand the party, let it all go, TTR-related feeling.

    My $0.02.

No worries! Outfits can add to the fun, sure, but you'd have fun if you were wearing overalls. Don't sweat the small stuff.
