Is anyone else LOVING the weather at the moment??? Sleep like a KING and can walk the dogs without looking like a marathon-runner
Perhaps I'm the odd one out, but it depresses me! Winter is coming, shorter days, chilly nights, I am not happy about it. I moved here to be hot! Yeah, yeah, call me crazy.....
The days are getting shorter. When the time resets, there will go our lovely, long evenings at seaside with a glass of wine.
THIS! I'm depressed as HELL. I know it is going to be another awful winter and already I can't run early in the am and have to wait until it is warm enough to run. I'm already looking at wetsuits as the water is getting frigid.
Funny how our definition of cold changes to anything below 70 degrees (21C) once you've been here for a while... I used to run around in shorts and t-shirts in less than 50 degree (10C) weather all the time and now I have to bundle up to withstand it... that said, I don't mind the cooler evenings when they come around... PS: I can remember as a kid standing outside at 6AM waiting for the school bus in sub zero (F) temps with even colder windchill while sleet rained down on us freezing to everything instantly... so I can't say that I miss that level of cold...

LOVE IT!!! Nothing like the smell of crisp, cool air to bring back some childhood memories Yesterday I walked from Market 28 to Elektra and didn't even break a sweat! Only negative is that now I need to figure out how to work the boiler at the new house. Cold showers used to be heaven! This morning it was not fun at all. Definitely not looking forward to the time change, though!!! Going into the office at 9 am, and getting out when it's already dark? No thanks.
