Daylight savings time ended Sunday, October 25, at 2:00 A.M. and clocks were rolled back, one hour. V
Re: Daylight savings time ends I should have booked my trip for this weekend then! In Calgary I went to work for 7:30 this morning and it was still pitch black. We didn't see the sun until about 8:15 or so. But we do make up for it in the summer. I have read books outside at 11pm in the past.
Thank you for the reminder. Here in the States we "Fall Back" the following week, Sunday November 1 at 2 AM.
Now is there any good reason why Mexico needs to change the time on a different day from the US? I know that the airlines cannot stand those weeks when the times don't line up in the US and Mexico, it messes them all up.
Or it could be said is there any reason why the US needs to change the time on a different day to the rest of the World? In most of the World clocks go back on the last Sunday in October, always have. The US is the anomaly here having changed their date a couple of years back. To be honest I've never understood why the clocks change at all in Mexico, even it's northernmost parts are pretty far south.
Yes Steve, you are right...the US are the ones who've shifted when DST begins and ends...it's pretty dumb.
Not going to mention how stupid the time changes are in today's world... Just want to say.... Good GOD this year is going by fast!!!!
DID YOU REMEMBER? Hope you all remembered to roll back your clocks! It was so great to be out this AM, at the new 5:30 AM, and have the sun, for a change. Can you believe how long the morning is, today? I've gotten so much done already, and it's only 9 AM! V.
Show off! We slept badly, despite that whole extra hour. It's the cat's fault, the whiny, grumpy cat, the one who thinks he needs to meow woefully all night long.
