What the hell?????????????? Just saw the last episode......... Comments anyone???????? What do you think that happened after Meadow came in? what a wierd ending!!!! The guy that walked into the bathroom was definately the one that took out Bobby Bacala. This was a bad last episode if you ask me. lastweeks episode was way better!!!!!
I thought it was brilliant!!!! Certainly leaves you hanging. We were all looking at the remote, thinking the signal was lost or something....
I thought something was wrong with my tv set when the screen the blank. Then when I realized that was it, I was like what the hell....... Does leave room for it to come back though.
U ask me......... Tony got wacked.the whole thing was built up for it. Tony is sitting waiting for his family to sit and have a good meal. for the first time his wife, son and daughter are all having things go thier way. AJ is having his film thing going. Meadow is finding her Lawyer thing going. Carmela has nothing to worry about. her kids are fine. Tony just had the NY family boss taken out!!! It has to end with him getting taken out. the guy went into the bathroom to take tony out. Carlo was gonna fuck them all anyway. Carlo went to the feds. Tony was gonna go away anyway. He knew he was screwed. All and all...I think this was a shit ending. bullshit. The Six Feet Under ending was the best ending HBO made for a series. I have been watching this series for years. As far as Im concerned, they needed a definative ending with no guessing needed. no brilliance in this ending at all. What happens with Paulie? Silvio? The Arabs? Too many questions unanswered.
Strangest ending since the series finale of The Bob Newhart Show. Remember that one? It ended with him waking up from a dream -- that was it! The show was only his dream! Heard that HBO's website crashed with all the e-mails they received after the show last night. I thought it was a classic ending -- made you realize that despite being the mob boss, he was a typical dad, with a typical wife and family, having a typical meal ...
If there is a movie coming out.....then fine. My beef is that there are way too many unanswered question for a series finale. who takes over NY? does Carmine? Does Carlo flip? does he bring them all down? what happened to the Russian that Stole Paulies car a few seasons back? The Arabs Uncle JR I still think The NY guy that went into the Bathroom was there to do Tony. I think the whole thing with Meadow not being able to park her car was the deciding factor. if she had parked it fast she would had sat next to tony and she would have stopped Tony from being killed. But she was too late and I think the NY guy was able to walk out of bathroom and had a clear shot at Tony Cause Meadow took too long. who knows. thats what sucks. too much guessing for a series finale.
The finale was a disappointment to me and I've watched the show since the beginning. I own the first and second season on DVD which I think were the best seasons. Tony wasn't whacked in the finale. The audience was. If the last shot had been showing the room as being from Tony's perspective, it would have been him being taken out. Instead, the last shot was on Tony's face. He was looking up as the door dinged because someone was coming in. If I wanted to write my own ending to this series, I'd go to Hollywood, work for HBO and write a script for people like James Gandolfini to act out. Instead, David Chase left all of us loyal Soprano fans in the lurch. I cancelled my HBO subscription today I was so disgusted. Someone in another Soprano website said it best, "David Chase, get back in this bed and finish fucking me!" (Sorry if that's too graphic for some of you, but that's about how I feel!) but like Tony said so many times, "Whaddayagonnado?"
