As you all know, the sunrises and sunsets here are absolutely stunning. I am a huge fan of the sun, and love to watch it rise and set as often as I can while on vacation. I also love to eat my breakfast while doing so. We haven't been since the renovations. I used to know all the good spots. So my questions are: What is the best spot to watch the sun rise, and possibly eat my breakfast at the same time? What is the best spot to watch the sun set, and possibly eat dinner with my wife, and or new friends?
Thinking that sunrise is going to be the best bet for a view since it comes up out over the water/beach. Sunset is around the front of the resort - no view from there except of cars, trees, stores, and people. I have NOT, however, been to the sky bar yet - unsure if there is a decent view towards the West from there or not...others will need to chime in. Eating breakfast with a view is probably best from a loungechair on the beach, or the deck outside of Sea Flirt. The bigger question might be where to get the food from, though. I'm not sure if the buffet permits plates and food to leave the restaurant to sit outside. Might be something a few dollars could change his/her mind or look the other way; otherwise, ordering room service and taking it from there? The virtual tour on the site actually had a good shot of what to expect (attached).
Goto Sea Flirt and have the eggs benny while the sun comes up. You can eat on the deck and enjoy the warm breeze.
The coffee shop beside the main checkin opens at 6am. You can also get a good selection of pastries as well.
