As a long time member of this board and having recently returned on Sept 25th from TTR for our 7th trip I have to say that things are getting worst with cameras and video’s and people don't even seem to be listening to staff. While there last week we witness many people taking unwanted pictures and to a point where it almost turned violent and these people were TOLD to delete these pictures. Once in the Nice Shoes during lingerie casino night Chinos informed everyone that while the game was taking place that NO cameras were allowed due to nudity involved, several minutes later a guy was seen circling the whole area and taking a video and he was pounced on rather quickly. My wife was victim of this and I happen to catch the guy and he was made to delete it. One older gentleman was there with a telephoto lens as long as your arm, he would sit behind his wife and spent the full week taking everyone's picture. In an age of internet and amateur porn sites etc Temptations needs to step up and make some rule changes, for instance make the Sexy pool no cameras from 9-5, this gives people ample time to take pictures of the area if they wish and lets others know that cameras will be in use at this time, and as always we are old school and liked it better when Nice Shoes was NO Cameras. You have to ask yourself, do you really want your pictures plastered all over the internet without your knowledge? P.S Our Comment card at check out read...NO Camera's Around the Sexy Pool and Nice SHoes
Thats awful, we arent going on our first TTR trip until January but we find it terrible that people should want to invade a persons right to privacy in that way. We were planning on really going for it on our trip with a special effort for lingerie night and some skimpy costumes round the pool but this really does open your eyes doesnt it.
Obviously, I agree... I would even say that the ban on cameras at the Sexy Pool should extend through the whole evening, as the craziest stuff seems to happen there as the sun goes down! That being said, it saddens me because I love to come back with pictures of my wife and my friends having a great time all day long in the sexy pool, and I think an all-out ban at the sexy pool would be tough to enforce. I would be down for it if it happens, but I will continue to take RESPECTFUL pictures of my wife and friends while it is still allowed. It just makes me mad that this debate even has to happen!! Oh, and the Nice Shoes rule is easy. No cameras, period. This one is enforcible and should happen. We will make sure to talk to the staff about this when we are back at TTR in two weeks!!
Dissident19 couldn't of said it any better.....I agree with NO cameras at Nice Shoes period, But not at the pool, some of our best vacation pictures are around the pool and beach... I don't have the answer for the camera problem. Just don't want to not be able to take pictures of my wife and friends.
I agree about the Nice Shoe ban especially during Casino/lingerie Night. I don't have a problem around the pool with couples taking pictures of each other and their friends. I have no idea how to separate those pics from the dude hiding behind his wife while using a camera with a lens the size of my my arm, or even the guy with the underwater camera walking around holding the camera in the water taking arse/crotch shots. Asking Chinos to police that is not fair to him. He is clearly in charge of "fun" and not in charge of discipline:aktion025:
Would be nice to see signs that say "when taking pictures, be respectful of others and their wishes" around the sexy pool. At least there would be something to back up the people that ask the pervs to stop. I just find it ridicoulous that management doesn't do anything. We all need to comment on what we would like to see. It looks like the must be dressed to enter lingerie night has stopped. I thought they were going in the right direction. Too bad.
Chinos and all the staff used to police it. And I've talked to him on many occasions and he says that if someone is bothering the guests to get him or the staff. They are there to help. It doesn't matter if its a camera, a drunk or some idiot on a day pass. They want you to have fun on your vacation and will sort out the idiots for you. One thing that I do find is that as long as people back each other up the problems are minimal. If there's no staff around then it's up to as many of us as possible to sort the problem out (without violence).
You have to dressed to enter the first hour of lingerie night, however the doors open to everyone after that first hour.
There should be no cameras in the Nice Shoes bar Period! that used to be inforced heavily! We need to fill out comment cards while there stating that!
