It’s amazing that not only was he a ace pitcher, and could have gotten into the HOF with those credentials alone! And, he stayed out almost every night at taverns and brothels, STILL got up and played all day games and still hit homeruns! In the 1926 World Series against the Cardinals, he was the first player to hit 3 homerun’s in a WS game, one of witch smashed a big pane glass window at a Buick dealership across the street from old Sportsman’s Park. The owner called the glass guy and had it replaced, and in the next game, Ruth broke the same window! Too bad ebay wasn’t around then, those balls have got to be worth a fortune!
