One of my dealer send me this video by facebook yesterday .. it's one of his customer who owns 2 snowmobiles with our stuff in . The driver his currently out of the hospital, and the other one still in. Be carefull on the boat.. guys !! [ame=""]
This is the first year in probably 20 years I didn't attend this event I was there when another smaller boat went over but this was crazy. Lots of people have died in crashes that are not nearly as bad as this one, they are real lucky.
Exactly. When my dealer send me this my mouth just fall appart... Last year one of our customer kill him while snowmobiling. He jump and the sled fall on him ! = (
When I lived in Idaho in the 1990s I knew a guy that was an avid sledder and his thing was high marking. One day, up in the Selkirks, he was doing his thing when he triggered an avalanche and was killed by it. And when I lived in Arizona a guy, on the lower Colorado river, with a super light weight (475lb) balsa cored Eliminator Daytona 19' with a 300hp Mercury 2.5 EFI motor, had a blow over and was thrown from the boat and ended up paralyzed. He was going over 110mph when he hit the NOS button. The nose of the boat started to lift and that was all she wrote. I'm a speed freak and adrenaline junkie but, as much of a rush as that stuff is, it is dangerous as hell.
I had a few friends there. We take part a few poker runs a year. Most have no idea how incredible these boats are. My mind is constantly blown by them. This one was an all carbon fiber Im told. I would have to assume a 2 million dollar price tag on it.
2.5 millions the boat worth. ( confirm by my dealer which his a friend of Joel ) it was the shout out somewhere in the us, and he was trying to beat the world record. Joel is out of the hospital but Mike he's still in a bad condition. I think he will take it easy next time ! On a better note, my boyfriend did a twin engine, 9.72 on the 1/4 miles @ 140 mph !!
