Steve you do a brilliant job running this website , bringing the TTR community together and keeping everyone updated with all the happenings , not to mention the up to date hurricane reports we read while waiting for our trip last Oct. . Having a local person to ask the when where why and how's is truly a convenience when we all live outside of Mexico and want to prepare our selves better for our trip to Cancun . I know that you must be busy enough already but I was wondering if it is possible to have some kind of calender set-up in the community photo section so that pictures could be added within the week or month that the people were at TTR which would make it easier for people to find the group that they spent their vacation with . As of now some people add their photos a month or a year later and unless they say when the pictures were taken it can be difficult to figure out when the pictures were from . Having said that I thank you again for such a great idea to have a website for all of us to enjoy ...no complaints here .
I have to agree. I haven't been yet and I haven't met you. But I was thinking the other day that this site has been active for years, yet it still maintains the excitment level of a first year operation. You are still active in it and your input is valuable in keeping the level of enthusiasm very high. The site is well organized and easy to use. I was thinking I should hire you then realized that I cannot compete with your beneift package so instead I thought I would apply to work for you. Seriously, I would loved to discuss if this strategy could have implications elsewhere (perhaps it is already being used elsewhere). If you were not so busy in light of your run of bad luck, I would be trying to steal 30 minutes from you some morning. I love to hear about other people's projects and sucesses and I think it was very courageous of you to make the leap in the first place.
I really appreciate this forum also and have a interest in starting a similar type project here in the States. I would like to bend your ear also Steve and hear how you got this site started. Again, thanks for the opportunity you've afforded all of us to communicate and develop a report with like-minded people enjoying one of the happiest (because the people there make it that way) places on earth.
