Hello Cancun Care Family, I joined this site about a month ago to get real reviews about Cancun and the safety in Mexico in general. My husband and I took our trip from Aug 25- Aug 30. We are both 29. All I can say is WOW! It is truly as beautiful and nice as you said it would be. We stayed at the Gran Caribe Royal and it was very nice. The staff was awesome and the position of the hotel was within walking distance to the plaza, margaritaville, bubba gump, and pat o'brien. I've never seen someone offer tequila shots in a store before. lol We took the bus for 1.50usd each way to Market 28. At first it was very overwhelming with the people asking you to come in their shop one after another. However, they had great pieces for great prices. It was so said to see the lil kids on the road selling things, but they were so adorable. We also went to The City Club which was nice, very very crowded. Alot of tourist were there. And drinks were all- inclusive. AWESOME! We also took a tour of Isla Mujeres. It was breathtaking and the crew at Aquaworld were the funniest. PS. Why didnt anybody warn me about that damn green sauce! The hottest ish in the world! lol So I would like to thank you all for this forum, and the love you all have for Cancun. I felt very safe. I would also like to thank the cellphone guy at cancun valet ( got that tip off of here). I reserved my cellphone at 2am before we left for the airport. My cellphone was at my hotel when I checked in at 1pm. Great service. By far this is the best vecation ever for my husband and I.
