Hey there! We went to Temptations last August and had a blast. Trying to decide whether to go back this August or try Secrets. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
If you're looking for a laid back atmosphere, Secrets is a very nice resort. The beach at the Vine is beautiful, but it cannot compare to Temptation for a party vibe. The two resorts are very different, so it is a question of what you are looking for.
Thanks for the response. If we go to Secrets, we were thinking of hitting the Boobs Cruise to get a taste of Temptations
Be prepared that when you get off the Boobs Cruise you most likely will be disappointed that you have to leave all your new friends and return to secrets
We did this in April. When we got back to the vanilla resort it was a big let down. All we could think of was, what are all of the great people we met doing tonight. For our last couple days we were looking for a party that was only at Temptation. My advice if you decide to stay somewhere else, don’t do the cruise.
Secrets Playa Mujeres was the last "regular" resort we went to before discovering TTR. It was gorgeous and luxurious and relaxing and had good restaurants...and we would never choose it over TTR again. Ever. We'd spend our whole trip thinking about what we were missing. Just sayin'.
