Hi all, We are planning to come down to Tempations for a short notice but much needed getaway next week arriving March 11th. We would love to stay through the 15, but unfortunatly Temptations is sold out Saturday night the 14th. Since we want to use the whole weekend and head home on the 15th, we currently have a hotel booked in the middle of the hotel zone for that last night. So would love some input from the group in a couple areas: -Will Temptations let us stay for the afternoon pool activities? We have been once before and then they were good about checking our bags and letting us get some lunch before departing, but not sure what their policy is on partying at the sexy pool/hot tub etc. for the rest of the day. We would really like to maximize the day Saturday and hang out...even if we had to pay a bit... -Our thinking is to visit some of the clubs in Cancun Saturday night. Any recommendations? I have not been to Cancun except Temptations since college spring break...and thats been a few years..ahhem..decades Liane will probably love all the college boys around anyway...lol...although one night might be enough. If you tell them you have a late flight, they should give you a temporary bracelet. At least they did in the past.
Cool, that would be awesome! Hope to at least get the whole pool day in before heading out. Any time limits or problems getting drinks later in the afternoon after check out that anyone has experienced?
We have had a 7:00 PM flight and stayed until 4:30 with no problem. We just checked out and told them when our flight was and they let us stay until our shuttle picked us up. They didn't question it at all. Had lunch, hung around the pool and left with a slight buzz.
Yes, in the past, at checkout...which is typically 11am ( we have gotten late check out as late as 2 pm but note we are Premier members) they cut off your wrist bans and give you a slip of paper that allows access to everything until your transportation arrives to take you to the airport. Never even been asked for paper slip as most recognize you from being there all week. You check your bags with the bellhop and they hold them until leaving. They give you a receipt with number of bags, etc. You turn in the paper slip when leaving. Yes, you can get to them if you need to. And then you go sit on what I call “the couch of shame” in the lobby by the front doors the last 15 minutes or so awaiting for them to call you once transportation arrives. Unfortunately, we all must eventually go home so we all sit on that couch. But there is always next trip!!! Suggest a small bag that you carry your home clothes for change out after the pool, etc. SkyBar (rooftop) has nice showers that we lunch and then use. And than of course, you might use room facilities of new “friends” too. Just ask.
