Hello everyone I'm going to try to keep it short and to the point. I'm going in July to Cancun with 4 of my friends and we are all single. I'm read the reviews but still wasn't sure. I understand there will be couples but that's not an issue. What I want to know is if going to be a good hotel to pick for single guys looking for some fun and a little more if you know what I mean. Any type of help with be appreciated
C'mon guys lets try and help a new member out. It's fair to say that groups of singles guys aren't the most popular demographic in a mainly couples resort. The hotel is probably around 70% couples and of the 30% singles maybe 70% of those will be guys. Not exactly a target rich environment, and that has led to some peoples wives being hassled by singles which makes the husbands less than welcoming. You can have a good time as a single at Temptation - many single guys do. But it's all about attitude and expectations.
Exactly, like Steve said! the week I've been there was 20 singles in all the resort!! so If you're looking for sex, I suggest you to go somewhere else! You'll be welcome on the resort you'll have fun guaranty, but for having sex not sure! The couple that swing is couple to couple not couple to a single! there's some but not alot! I agree with Steve, sorry for my last post just a joke. If I were a single guy I don't think I would enjoy Temptation. Sure it's fun if you want to get drunk with your boys, but let's face it you can do that anywhere. I live 20 minutes away from South Beach Florida, if I were single guy I can pick up a dozen places loaded with tons of single surgery enhanced bodies that I would rather go. Single guys have gotten bad reputation at the resort. Not saying that all groups of singles are bad but there have been several times where groups have caused problems. I have personally seen people escorted from the resort by the local police for fighting. To me that makes a shitty trip!!!! Sure is there the possibility of a hook up of course, but there's also a possibility of a hook up at your local grocery store etc. I think that the solo mail traveler has a far better chance of hooking up then one within a group. Again this is just my opinion, after being at the resort coming up on 10 times. Have met some great single folks which are an absolute blast, but have also had two trips ruined due to large groups of single drunk males thinking that this resort is nothing but a Roman orgy which is far from the truth.
If your there to have fun and relax with no expectations you should be fine. Be respectful of the ladies. A group of 4 might work but keep in mind larger groups of guys have given singles a bad rep. My buddy and I have gone here since the Blue Bay days and always had "fun" but didn't expect it. We have made some good friends along the way. There aren't a lot of singles though and it's about 4 to 1 guys to girls ratio.....and thats being optomistic.
The single males that go there and tend to have ''fun'' and blend in are going alone,, not as a group. We have a few good friends that always go alone and they tend to do fine. Groups never seem to do as well, often going clubbing to leave the resort. You did not mention your age category. Go through some pictures on peoples public profiles to see what goes on here. Speaking of pictures careful when taking them, the rules are grey, but when single guys start taking pictures they get in trouble easier.
