Hope the title got your attention... : )

    ....

    Hi Everyone,

I'm thinking of going to Temptations from March 26th to April 1st.

I've been to a lot of festivals including Burning Man etc.. and love being around open-minded, positive people. I also need a sunny break from work and was recommended Temptations by my travel agent.

So... my question is: With all the partying going on is Temptations a place where I can also relax, have good conversation, and lots of sun, or should I pick somewhere else if I'm not necessarily feeling like partying non-stop?

Again, I'm a very open minded person but feeling incredibly drained from my new job and first Nova Scotia winter and not sure how energetic I'll be!

Well if you want to dip your toe so to speak for part of the day but chill for other parts TTR might be ok for you.

There are lots of daytime fun at the sexy pool but there is a quiet pool too. That would still leave you the option to go wild if you choose.

I think you would be fine at Temptation. There is a "quiet pool" to relax in the sun.

I can't guarantee that you wouldn't be caught up in the party atmosphere in the evening though...lol.

Hey I'm from Halifax! If you want down time while at Temptation there's the quiet pool. You can find great conversation too. I've gone 4 out of the last 5 years as a single guy n loved it!

That is one of many great things about Temptations. You can do either, party or lay back and relax in a very quiet atmosphere. There is the party pool and there is the quiet pool. What I like is you have the choice, maybe your first couple days you just want to unwind relax but if that becomes boring you just walk over to the other side and party your butt off. The best of both worlds as far as I'm concerned.
You will have a great time.
    Cheers and Welcome to CC

Temptation is absolutely where you should head...

If you're in the quite mood, then you can hang at the quite pool.
If you're in the mood for partiing, you can hang out at the sexy pool.
You can change your mind at anytime.

Great conversation are had on a daily basis at Padyo's every night.
People watching is a trip. My wife Chris spent one week of one of our vacations talking every night to a single guy from England and their conversations covered almost every subject you can think of.

So by all means head to Temptations and relax and pick your entertainment on a daily, if not hourly, basis.

Nah Temptations for single guys suck, Ive been going for 10 straight years and I still havent figured out why everyone keeps going back... but maybe on this trip going as a single guy ill see what all the fuss is about... hahaha
This place is great for the down to earth single guy that is acting like a dog in heat, its full of great of people and as a matter of fact I was hanging out with a group last year for a few days that were heading to burning man....Go have a blast , meet some people, you can always take a cab or bus into town to do other things if the resort gets to ya, but I think you will be fine.

Actually, a single guy NOT looking to hook up would be a welcome relief for some of the guests! Don't get me wrong, we didn't meet anyone that was pushy or rude. And we made friends with a few of the single guys. But a few of the single ladies hung with us to get a break from the guys. (Guess we look really married and "safe", lol!)

We found that we could jump right in and get with the party, or hang back and chill (depending on our mood) at any given time.

You'd probably have a great time.

    =)
