Need advice on how to get to Temptations from the Golden Parnassus.... please keep in mind this is our first time to Cancun so we are not familiar with everything. I know the bus system is fairly easy to use (or I have ready anyways).... is there a certain bus we need or will any of them get us there? Also, how much time should we allow?

Take a cab... Just negotiate the fare before you get in.

Cab shouldnt cost u more than $20 bucks. If u take the bus its easy, just stay on the street side thats closest to the beach and take the first bus that will stop for u, around a $1 per person, and if u give the bus driver a tip he'll make sure to drop u off right in front of TTR

Contact USA Transfers and ask for a quote for Airport to GP, GP to Temptation, then Temptation to Airport for one quick, convenient transaction.
We just did an Airport to Playa, Playa to Temptation, then Temptation to Airport through them and it was convenient, reliable and very fair priced!

You don't need to take a cab! There are two streets in the hotel zone North and South. Go out to Kulkulcan Bld take and R1 or R2 bus for $1us tell the driver you want off at Temptation Resort. It's 5mins away. When you go over a bridge and see the big pirate ships on your right it's just after that . No problem at all! Then when you want to go back cross the road and do the same but in reverse. It is sooooo easy and safe to take the bus have been doing it for years!

The Pirate ships are gone....they have moved location further down Kulkulcan and are no longer parked at the entrance to the lagoon near the bridge...they are now down by the bungee jump....

Are you going to Temptation to continue your vacation and will be bringing along luggage? Or is the trip to to catch an excursion, like a Boobs Cruise, from that area? The bus is extremely simple to use. Just tell the bus driver "Temptation por favor" when you board. The resort is at Km 3.5, the second bus stop after the bridge that crosses the lagoon outlet.
If you are going to be continuing your vacation at Temptation, you should be aware that the bus system is not set up for luggage and would likely be frowned upon.

We used the bus system on our visit to TTR back in April. It is very simple and safe !!! The buses are a great way to go anywhere, After several trips to Jamaica, we were hesitant (!!!!) to use any type of public transportation. Thanks to cancuncare for showing us a great way to get around. Make sure you take your seat in a hurry, as these guys don't waste any time leaving the bus stop. The drivers really want your business and it shows.
