Just wanted to say a big thank you to all the folks that helped me and my girlfriend on our first trip to temptations. The folks were great, save one dodah! The trip was fun, and the beds actually weren't that bad. To everyone on the site and to the folks we actually meet, on the resort, gracias from the bottom of our hearts...
Okay here goes. Not the best of writters. But Day one Saturday, tired hot and ready to get down to drinking. Drop off the bags at our room. Bed was soft, not the greatest but definetly supportive for other activities....lol. Quick nap, and off to explore. We go to the middle restuarant eat, but were alittle annoyed at the bird theives that fly throught the dining hall, but eeh.. its okay. After a quick bite back to the room to change and hangout at the quiet pool. Quiet pool was great, my kinda town. My lady like it too but also likes the night life. Meet alot of great couples at the quiet pool, on top of some great drinks. (I recomend the Bull).. ahhh bulllss.....lol After hanging out their walked around the resort to the sports and activites pools. Meet a few more folks, hungout some more. Then back to room for a romp in the hey..lol Next day just about the same, went for info on Scuba diving which was great. Went out that night to patios folks are great their too. Alittle crowded, and i dont do well with smoke but the folks their a great too, except for one a-hole that decided to get alittle too touchy feeley with the miss's but it was cool. Next day quiet pool/ activties pool, and then a nice jaunt off resort to the Walmart to get some beauty supplies and aqua. Nice exploration, especially since we were with a couple from Phili, strength in numbers..lol but the Mexican people are very kind a gracious I found. Next night went to the other night club, (can't remember the name) for me and the miss's first real dance the night away affair. It was great. Walked on the beach then back to the room for..shall we say night tag???LOL. Next day got up early and sorted out the reservation thing for the Japanese and Italian resturants, alittle weird the way it works, but well worth it.. Both resturants were excellent, waiter and waitress staff beyond excellent. Atmosphere was top notch. Activites, went Scuba diving which i have always wanted to do, (felt like Jacques Custo) its a different world under the sea is all i can say. Next day went Jet skiing with the lady on back, just like riding my motorcycle at home, it was a bunch of fun. Meet another great couple ( thank you for your kindness Carl, and Nat) and hung out with them most of our free time. Cant think of too much else, so much to do the first time had trouble fitting stuff in but all in and all a great trip with great peeps.. Hope to meet more whenever we come back! The end! Nice TR! Where abouts you guys from? We're just east of B-more in the county... and we too thrive on trip reports until we can get there again...
TR Thank you soo much for the trip report. We are definitelu living vicariously through them in anticipation for Aug. Where was your room? Was it loud? Did ppl respect the fact that you didnt want your wife to be touched? You guys arent far from us. I am stationed in Andrews (currently in Afghanistan), but we live in Va. Mrs Grimes..Hey you guys will have a good time. Like i said, or maybe i forgot to mention. The folks their are really good people.. Very helpful friendly, and respectful. Except for two guys that got drunk and tried to be slick and did try to touch my girlfriend (wifey is just a term of enderment now, but workign on it...lol) everything was really cool. Our room was behind the quiet pool 1229-1231 are really nice 2nd floor. Despite what folks said the beds arent really hard at all. They arent plush but their okay. The staff are excellent.
Were you guys there when we were? We just got back Wed night...we were there for 5 nights! I must be used to the hard beds, didnt bother me, but my BF was bothered by them, hes still sore all over...i suspect it's not from the beds though lol...just partied too hard, and also fell a few times playing beach vball..
