Hey Ladies and Gents. I've been to TTR 4x usually in Oct for my birthday. This Year it will be closed for Renovations, Do anyone know for how long and is there any other resorts you would recommend where I can have fun? I most likely will be going alone this year :-(

I'm hoping our July stay will not be effected by the announcement of closing for renovations. I would hate to find out less People book the resort or the experience is less because of this.

It's more likely that more people will book, those bringing their trips forward to avoid the closure period, or squeezing one last extra trip in before the changes.

I, too, am thinking about "squeezing in" one last visit before the closure. I am booked for Golden Parnassus in August, but seriously considering cancelling it (there's a cancellation fee, boo) and booking TTR instead.

Does anyone think the food/service will be affected? Will the staff members be there until the last days/weeks and working as wonderfully as before?

No clue about the staff members, but I'd imagine the party will be off the hook with everyone getting in one last hellraiser before the renos.

We are seriously contemplating one more visit in September as well. We were planning something in October or November, and we're considering Hedo or Desire as an alternative, but nothing really compares to TTR.
