My wife and I are new to the board...... We are currently debating between Hedo II and Temptation. I am curious if anyone here has been to both recently and could give some input into the pros and cons of each resort..... We are lookin to book something in around January or so. Looking forward to any of your thoughts... Thnx in advance!!
My wife and I used to go to Hedo II. Our last trip was about 4 years ago or so. We enjoyed the nude beach because the people on that side were friendly but we stopped going because the PDA during the day became quite prevalent. At one time that activity was reserved for late at nite in the nude side hot tub. We found TTR about that same time and have been there since. The people are just as friendly and the atmosphere is fun. The food isn't as good as H II at the buffet but the specialty restraunts are about the same. Entertainment at H is better for the most part. One of the main differences is the cost. You can usually spend about 2 wks at TTR for the cost of one wk at H II. Before you decide on Hedo, make sure you check on the special events calendar. It used to be that Jan. was mostly lifestyles month. It just depends on what you are looking for.
Ive been to both several times and love both, just in different ways....However like the above poster mentioned, January is lifestyle month..,PDA's and much more will be prevalent everywhere...If you tell us what is important to you in a resort and a vacation, I can give you more insight.
Thanks for the replies and pm's that were sent. I guess overall we are looking for a combination of things. So far it seems we are leaning towards Temptation for a few reasons. We have swung before but don't consider ourselves fulltimers....if the environment is right sort of thing lol... Anyway all the tips and insight has been good...we will keep you posted on the decision!!
