Hi I am staying at Temptation with my boyfriend Feb - Mar this year to celebrate our birthdays and to enjoy Spring Break. We picked Temptation based on the reviews and the no kids policy. Can someone please tell me how literal the dress codes are for the theme nights and for dining? On the website it says that at the buffet no jeans, shorts, sandals or t-shirts are allowed. Is this true even at breakfast and lunch? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Cat
At the buffet you can go in shorts very casual to dressy. The Asian, Margarita's, the Seafood and Italian Restaurants for dinning are a little more on the dressy side. Theme nights that go over big and most dress up for are Lingerie casino night the men too...you can not get into Nice Shoes without being dressed in Lingerie and men in boxers. White night and little black dress night go over well.
I noticed that Temptation's Website does show their reservation style dress code in effect for the buffet. I'm sure this is just an error, but it's also going to confuse some people. Here's what it says: EL EMBARCADERO Surrounded by amazing views of the Caribbean Sea, El Embarcadero restaurant invites you to discover an array of the most delicious hot and cold dishes that will make every meal a delight. With tableside beverage service, our buffet-style restaurant is an excellent option to enjoy those special breakfast, lunch and dinner moments to the fullest. Offering dinner themes that change nightly, El Embarcadero alternates from Mexican, Italian, Mediterranean, BBQ, Caribbean and Asian cuisines so that you will always find those mouthwatering flavors to please your palate with. Open for breakfast 7:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Lunch 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. Dinner 6:00 P.M. – 10:00 P.M. Air-conditioned. Dress code: no shorts, no t-shirts, no jeans and no sandals
Lol , I guess I read it differently. It makes it sound like a nudest restaurant . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
What reviews did you read? We passed on it 2 times because of the negative ones on some sites, but you will have a blast. Glad you got to read reviews from real people!
There is so much BS info out there from those who either have an anti-Temptation agenda or just believe and pass on bogus info. My first trip was back when TTR was Blue Bay Getaway...so I just told the family that we went to Blue Bay, because they also had a tame top-on resort. Before the next trip, Jamie just told everyone we were headed to Temptation. My brother-in-law, who has never been there...but knows a guy who knows a guy who used to work with a guy who knew a guy who went there. So he tells me that every night in the bar before bed people throw a room key in a fish bowl and couples just grab random room keys, let themselves in and jump in bed for a swap. Yeah...right. That's just how we do it.
