Temptation Spa!!!

Good Day All!!!!

My boyfriend and I are heading to Temptations in February and I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out with some advice regarding the Spa there. I am just wondering about tipping and just the overall vibe of the Spa as well if the massages are any good there. I am looking so forward to the constant partying but a few hours out of the week I would like to treat and pamper myself at the spa!!! any advise would be great and as always thanks for the help its mucho appreciado you are all wonderful!!!!!

We've only been to TTR once but my husband and I had 2 couples massages... The first one was AMAZING for both of us. By far the best I've ever had. But the second one was really bad, again for both of us. We tipped our usual 15 or 20%. Not as much the second time though. The atmosphere was very relaxing and we enjoyed alone time jacuzzi the first time but on the second they were full and we weren't about to jump on in.

After we got back from our last massage some friends of ours were telling us about the sensual massages they do there. We really regretted not getting that and will definitely get one the next time. It sounds like quite an experience!!!

We also went to the salon for pedicures... definitely don't waste your money on that. We were expecting the comfortable massage chairs with water baths, but all they had were the water basins you can buy for $20 at Walmart, and really uncomfortable chairs. They were also blaring a really loud tv show so it wasn't ideal by any means. The girls didn't give a good polish and mine didn't seem to know how to apply flower design sticker. One of them fell off by the next day.

I'm not the type to complain because I know everyone has a bad day here and there, but this was pretty ridiculous.

Sensual massage will blow your mind! $$$ but worth every penny. But if you are just looking for a regular couples massage I have read alot of posts about a service on the beach to the left of the resort. we are definately going to try that this time!

 

Okay so stay away from the pedi's, CHECK!!!! Now does anyone know what the sensual massage is?? Kinda not sure on that one. It's just going to be me going since the man isn't into massages so not sure sensual is the way I should go lol. Thanks for all there great replies, it really helps me figure out what I can expect.

We read mixed reviews, which is why we didn't do it. But here's some cliffs notes from what we were told..

You are both naked, they do sensual things to each of you individually without actually touching directly on any private parts... Then they slide the beds together, take your partner's hands and place them all over you, and you will have multiple hands running all around and over you, without directly touching private parts, there are feathers and things like that involved as well... Then finally they bring the private parts into play, whisper "enjoy" and then the masseuses leave the room...

 

Yeah, that's pretty much how Kristin told me it went.

 

And don't forget about the blue tent on the beach right next to Temptation for super cheap massages. $45 for an hour massage ($25/half hour), can't go wrong with those prices.
