So, after becoming a Cancun Care member and a Temptation Resort Member (RCI), I thought I would share some things with people that are considering TTR for their first vacation destination. When Bob & I were performing searches on line, we truly wanted a vacation with these items in mind: Adults only, bars that stayed open past 5pm, different options for dining, fun activities and topless optional. I will tell you from my personal perspective, prior to going, I was a little concerned with how it was going to be after reading some of the TTR reviews. Clearly, some were not favorable, but I think the resort was just not for them. I didn’t really know what to expect and didn’t not want to turn it into something I wouldn’t be comfortable with. I was like, uh honey are taking us to a porn convention? Lol. But once we got there, it was not like that at all. It really was a great time !!!! In fact, it was so great, we became members. Whenever we have booked All Inclusive resorts in the past, there is always the concerning fact of having to have to deal with that dreaded Time Share presentation. For what it is worth, we are greatly pleased. Anyway, the resort was lots of fun. Vacationers can choose whether to be involved with everything, some things, or sit back and watch. Quiet to noisy, so many different experiences. They have many activities pool side. Bars stay open all night, food was great. You can be in the quiet section, medium or high level part of the hotel. Every day they have a special poolside activity planned that you can participate or just watch and laugh with others. No children, must be 21 years or older. The resort is topless optional by the pools/beach. You will see many types of women that are comfortable with their body and some that are not. It is a preference thing. The topless option really is not a big deal as some may think. Everyone just walks through and does their thing. They discourage anyone trying to make it anything more than that. In fact, one couple was asked to leave the pool area because they were trying to be too risqué. No cameras or videos are allowed in the pool area. You won’t see a pair of naked boobies at the dinner table or breakfast table. Bob & I would start our day out on our balcony with coffee watching the ocean. Go to the pool. Hang out for the day with new friends, etc. In the evening, there is a dress code. For example, men are required to wear collared shirts and dress shorts or pants. Evening time, this is a big hit. Everyone gets dressed up- it really was nice. Beautiful couples, ladies dressed in wonderful dress attire. The rooms were nice with coffee pots, Corona, iet Coke or Water; they made sure it was stocked daily. The Patty O’ lounge was a super hit! The bartenders were AMAZING. Our site has a picture of Pedro- Our personal favorite!!!!!!! Also, making dinner reservations is good idea. They only require them for the Asian and Italian Restaurant. A great suggestion is when making your reservation, make it for two more. You never know when you might meet another couple that you would like to have dinner with. We met some very nice couples there, ranging from 25 to 65. In fact, we are going there in Oct with some friends that we met from last February. Three pools- Activity (Sexy) Pool, Relaxed Pool and the Sports Pool. For the most part, everyone treated us wonderfully. We enjoyed it so very much, that we have a trip planned in Oct 2012 and Feb 2013 at TTR. I loved reading your thoughts on Temptations. I plan on copying and emailing to my friends who are going with us this time. Cheryl and I, like you were there this past February (with the same concerns) and had such a great time, we have also booked October 30-November 7th with our friends this time. So we look forward to seeing you two in person soon. I do not see you as booked for the boob cruise - why not? It is generally the highlight of of the Temptation experience.
Thank you for your post, it was great to read about your experience, very reassuring actually lol. It will be my first time there but I'm going with great friends who went 2 years ago and loved it. I am very excited for February to come to spend some time with my honey in such a beautiful location, with close dear friends and looking forward to making new friends too Helena

Hi guys~ Glad you liked the post. Bob & I feel as much "good" that we can put out there, the better. When you're spending that kind of money, you hope it pans out !!! Looking forward to seeing & meeting you as well. Boobs Cruise.....IDK it is set for the last day we are there, so Bob & I are thinking we will do it in February.
If you haven't done a Boobs Cruise you should take advantage of the oppurtunity. They are a blast and there is no guarantee there will be one on the days of your next trip. Just my opinion but after doing 2 of them I don't think I would pass up the chance. Although they were somewhat similar they were both very different as defined the goup of people on the boat...........
I agree. We spent the entire cruise with big smiles on our faces just laughing at all the crazy antics. Omar and Chinos really do a good job of keeping everyone entertained. After we came home, we realized half our stories were about the boob cruise. It like Temptations on steriods. I hope you change your mind and just us.
