We are 3 weeks and 4 days from leaving (but who is counting? ME! That's who!) and I can't stop thinking about the week and the resort. The thing I keep coming back to is my favorite things about going there. The obvious one is "the friends you make" ... Here are 10 others that come to my mind - what comes to yours? - Midnight (and later) burgers at Paty-O's - Sitting on the steps of the Sexy pool drinking - Taking a walk on the beach with my topless wife - Laughing constantly - the Sexy Coffee and the Sexy Legs dessert at the Italian restaurant - The Tacos for lunch at the Tex Mex restaurant - That incessant sea breeze that feels so good in the evening - Knowing that it's just a happy zone - no one knows you, no one gives a shit. - That fantastic staff at the resort - Being completely irresponsible for a week What are your favorites? You have most of mine covered, but here are a few more: -Jackie and I swinging in the hammocks at 4 a.m. listening to the waves hit the beach and the the sound of the bell on one of those boats over there clang as the wind rocks it back and forth. Very "Corona commercial moment-ish". -NTVB! -Choking down mimosas at breakfast to get the party started once again! - Early morning cheeseburgers deserve another mention. Man those hit the spot. - The people you meet definitely deserves another mention as well. - Going through the pictures about a week after the trip and remembering all the awesome stuff that made the trip so much fun! - Trying new drinks that you wouldn't normally drink at home. - Never knowing what time it is, and not giving a shit either! Hate to one up ya Stew, but exactly 3 weeks for us!!! LETS GO!!!
Beach volleyball (English style) Meeting great people from all over. Dressing up for dinner each night. Drinks on the balcony..... roll on July 28
Walking up to the bar on the first day/night and having the bartender remember your drink from a previous trip. Walking outside and not having to worry about being too hot, or having to wear a jacket in the evening. Who am I kidding, as "Nice Shoes" are obviously the favorite thing about TTR:icon_lol:
