We wanted to give a review from a few recent newbies! We could type a novel, but we just wanted to throw out some highlights of our trip. We struggled and couldn't think of any negative comments about TTR. We will be repeat offenders! Cancun Care Newbies...read read read. This forum will give you everything you need to know in order to have a great trip. We were completely prepared for our trip for EVERYTHING. There were people we met that thought we were multiple time veterans and even asking us for advice. Bubba Mugs We shopped around to find a good sized mug to bring with us on our trip. We chose the 32oz mugs. The very first day we filled it up with our poison of choice and guzzled them down swiftly. Bad idea lol We have few recollections of the first night. From them moment on, we decided that we should use it for water only and drink from the cups provided by the bar. We also considered that next time we can bring only the 20oz mug; that is plenty. TTR Rooms The room we had was 4306. It was a little walk from all the activities (pool,restaurants, beach). It was a quite room with a view or the street. Next time, we may opt for a room nearer to Paty O's or the sexy pool. Room was very spacious with larger sleeping area. When comparing it to a room near Paty O's, it was nearly twice the size. Very comfortable bed too for umm...sleeping! Food Be sure to make your dinner reservation early!! We were there for 5 days and didn't get the chance to eat at one. We attempted making reservations at noon and only extremely late reservations were left. We did enjoy the seafood restaurant for two nights; absolutely delicious. The buffet has the BEST omelettes I've ever had! They have a really wide variety of breakfast foods. Sexy Pool This is where we spent 95% of our time at TTR. It was an absolute blast! People were super friendly and welcoming and ready to take shots, party, and have a great time. There is no pressure to go topless, but you pretty much stand out like a sore thumb with one. It is all in fun, let em' hang! lol Also, it may be because we came in September, but pool chairs were never an issue. Chairs were always available, and if they weren't CCC folks were always willing to let you sit your stuff there The Beach We didn't spend any time at the beach really, but we did want to ease a few souls. We read threads of the seaweed complaints, and the seaweed was not bad at all. We were in Honduras in February, and they were literally raking the beaches and removing seaweed in truckloads. Boobs Cruise We took the Boobs Cruise on the 12th, and there was only 39 people on our cruise. We partied like there were 200! We have seen the posts with nervous feelings about the Boobs Cruise. Advice, just cut loose and do it! It was everything everyone described and more. We are pretty open people and we jumped right in and participated in EVERYTHING. This cruise was probably the highlight of our trip. Paty O's We partied and danced our ASSES off at Paty O's!!! We jumped right in and were not modest or shy with our CCC themed costumes at all. Everyone loved them, and we had fun every night. Even the food there was great, especially the Burgers! Shout Outs! We are social butterflies and met so many people from so many groups. The Dirty Dozen and Los Amigos...Good Lord you guys are massive and know how to party we met a lot of you, but thank you for the welcoming arms! Especially Larry (Go Vols!) and Tammy! Kevin, Alisha, Rusty, Hailey, Kristin, and Doug....you guys took us in like your own. Let's definitely do it again and bring the party! Jason, Tara, Chris and Serenity....ditto for you guys! We had a blast meeting you all...if we end up there together again, we are tearing shit up! Ryan and Kristin....you two were fun to meet. Ryan, Kyle needs to start working on the push ups to compete with you next time! lol Steve, Marylou, Gunnar, and Christine...we will keep the party at Paty O's next time...it's free! (insider) lol John, Mary, Bill, and Roxanne....you all befriended us on day one! We hope to see you in TTR again in the future...we have to do another Boobs Cruise together. Ty and Jess....It was great meeting you two. We will stay in touch and book together next year!
Awesome report! So glad your 1st time was a blast! My husband and I have been there 3 times since early 2014 and we just cannot get enough!
