Hey Temptation family! Wondering how many of you were looking forward for the cruise on February 2022? If so did you receive the email? Thoughts??
We were going to go, and we cancelled today. With the way the things are shifting, I don't think cruises will be running. So rather than get my hopes up for a vacation and have it stripped away by CDC restrictions, we're just going to spend that time and money at TTR
Hey Temptation family!!! First of all thanks Scuba!! We failed to mention that it was the Temptation Caribbean Cruise!! Not the infamous Boobs Cruise! This is gonna be the second sailing but now that the cdc has placed more restrictions it seems like it’s gonna be a no go…at least for us…we were looking forward to it. Hard to meet new people when you have to be in a bubble…
Been away for a few days at family hotel with the kids and didn't have (nor want) access to email. Back today. Came back to an email that the Temptation Cruise will require proof of vaccination. If you don't have it you'll be refused admittance. This is due to CDC, not TTR requirements. The refund terms are you have to contact them before 1st September - so you have 4 days. Be quick To reiterate, this is for the Temptation 2022 Caribbean Cruise not the Boobs Cruise. The Boobs Cruise does not require this. I did offer it as a possible solution to get us running again (after we were shut down for a couple of weeks) but since it made no difference, I withdrew the offer.
Interestingly, we have recently looked at cruises world wide, what astonished us was that we were required to go through hoops to board ( double jabbed, tests on arrival, tests on leaving potential quarantine when home.) No clarification if masks were necessary when in public area's and no mention if you were free to wander off ship when in port (not joining organised excursions only). We then looked at what the crew where required and many said they didn't require or didn't have a vaccination policy or a couple said "we're in the process of vaccinating staff".... oh yeah, we need to go through hoops and you've done F.A. well that got ditched immediately.....
Just got back from cruise on Royal Caribbean. All employees are vaccinated. You must be vaccinated and show your card. also must have a test with in 3 days of boarding. Mask are needed in hallways inside ship. no mask in open air or in causino. A few shows are vaccinated only meaning no one under 12 years of age. They are the only ones that can not get vaccinated. Had a great time and did not feel the rules were a problem at all. Just to note, there were no one sick or reported covid cases.
