It great, we've been there twice over Christmas and then twice the end of Jan. We like it better at Christmas and plan of returning this year. The food seemed better, they go all out over Christmas and the weather seems better. We found it rained more the end of Jan as compared to Dec.
The pool is cool, but it is so hot that it is very refreshing, the party pool is always packed. I don't know what the pool is like now so can't compare. We've swam in both pools everytime we go. We've never found it to cold to swim in either the pools or the sea.
