Temptation 5K/10K Race Sunday 12 August - Kindness for Cancer

I know some of you are keen runners and if you are at Temptation on Sun 12 August you might be interested in the Temptation Kindness for Cancer Race that will take place that day.

As many will know, Chinos who works on our cruises and who is also ex Ents staff at Temptation is currently undergoing treatment for skin cancer. After seeing all the kindness and good wishes towards him wanted to give something back. The proceeds from the race will be donated to local cancer charities in Cancun. Chinos will be running the 10K himself and there will be an opportunity to personally sponsor him (details to follow)

Cancuncare.com will be sponsoring this event, we are paying for the race numbers each of which will bear the cancuncare.com logo.

I'll find out if it's possible to buy a shirt. The problem, as ever, is going to be getting it to you if you're not in Cancun anytime soon.

I will enquire about signing up online, I dont think it's possible at the moment but will ask what they recommend.

There will be a few people taking it seriously, but for the majority it will be a fun run. You shouldnt feel that you have to run the whole thing, you can walk or even take the bus back if you like It's the taking part that counts.
