Do you tell others about forum at resort. If you are like me you meet many people at the resort and are usually pretty hammered. I tell people about this forum and that "hey let me get your email and number so we can keep in touch before you leave." I often forget about thier email and sometimes lose touch. But, some of them remembered about this site and looked me up. So I just want to say thanks steve for an easy way for us all to stay in touch. The least we can do is promote him while at the resort, plus it gives you a second chance to get friends contact info.
You know I do Mike....like you once the alcohol starts flowing you kind of forget to exchange email addys or numbers or whatnot. some have come on here and joined, some not. Either way, your right about it being a great launching board for making friends before you even get there!!!
I'm just glad I found the forum before our first visit to TTR. Even though we haven't met any of you in person yet, the forum is a nice way to get acquainted with people that have 'been there, done that' so we don't feel totally out of place when we get there. Most everyone on the forum seems very easygoing and laid back....our kind of folks for sure. Danno
The forum helps alot by putting faces to names for the week that you are going. We have met more people that way... Ken and Joyce
It really works We posted about two weeks before our vacation this past May. We were at the resort only 10 minutes before George (Lotsatimers) recognized us at the front desk. It really made out trip great because they introduced us to everyone. From then on we had no trouble saying hello to new people and making new friends. Thanks George for making our trip great from the first moment we walked in the door!
a large number of people we consider to be our best friends we actually met on cancuncare web site prior to meeting them in cancun..........many of these friends whom we met at bbg/temptations still come to town (even though they live far away) for all our parties here at temptations north rob/t
