In February I changed from an Amigo card to a plan. I have yet to get a factura delivered to my house. BUT, I get 2 text messages each month, one telling me that my bill is due (it is not as I prepay at least one month ahead) and the second one saying that my factura cannot be delivered and to call *111 to give them my address.

So every month, I not only call *111 but I make a trip to Telcel, where I miraculously find that my address in their computer is correct, I am promissed all of my undelivered bills within 3 business days, I get a call verifying the address. THEN NOTHING HAPPENS and the next month I do it all again.

Does anyone know someone high up the food chain where a Telcel customer can get his or her bill delivered to their residence?

This is currently my life's mission. I went to the Tulum office last week and today and spoke to Sandra Flores. Sandra es el jefe o gerente. We will see how this works out. She is at least giving me attention. And I am turning into a Mexican. I no longer stand in line. I just go find her, or ask for her, and interrupt. Jaja.

AND, DO YOU KNOW that if you want your entire bill, and not just the first 3 pages, it costs you $30 per month or per bill. That is just wrong.

    Cheers

I would look into if you can view your bills online or something... or see if they can have the bills held for you at the office, as I doubt they will ever end up at your place... if you are really bored one day you can walk around to your neighbors and see if any of them have been getting it....

I consider myself lucky if I get my electric bill every other time.. or within 24 hours of it being due.... same goes for cable or anything else.

    LNC,

Well I can get it online but why should I have to if the rest of the world gets theirs at their house. It baffles me that these idiots on the motos cannot find a very easy to find address in the SM's. The address on their records shows nearby cross streets and the SM, Mz, Lote, etc are painted in big letters and numbers on the street side of the thing where the electric and water meters are located.

Plus the whole street I live on "maybe" has 15 buildings on it and is "maybe 300 meters from one end to the other. And the few times I have taken a taxi the driver goes right to my street. But I think that is because a lot of us have too much to drink at La Taberna or wherever.

I am probably the only guy on the street with a plan. And all of the other bills come without problems.

    Go figure.

Might be more of a laziness thing on the part of the person who is tasked with delivering it, kind of like when I get 5 or 6 electric/cable bills... obviously I don't have all those bills but the guy probably figures so long as he gets them to the street they will manage the rest of the way on their own..

Life gets more interesting. I live on Lote 10. In the past few days I have found two piles of maybe 10 pieces of mail each, for Lote 9.

They seem to be legitimate (junk) mail, as opposed to the bills delivered by the utility companies. We are in trouble when even the postal service cannot get it right.

You think you have it bad! In Puerto Morelos I think I am the only one with a full mailbox and none of it is mine. I have never received a telmex bill, and my Telcel and Nextel are always 3 months late. We decided to just pay it all with a Credit Card, so it all works. After so many years of this crap you just know every month to drive thru the Auto pago at Telmex. At least in Cancun you have a few street signs. We need to meet at the bar every week just to do a mail exchange program
