2 unrelated questions but here goes... What size t-shirts fit over the loungers around the sexy pool? We saw a few couples with them last year and are making our own ones this time. Seen posts about buying a Mexican sim card and using the data package to surf, anyone know where we get these and their cost etc.? I know I know, surfing whilst at TTR we must be mad!!! See you all on the 25th May
The SIM cards can be bought at any of the local telco shops. Look for TelCel or Amigo in the airport. Pretty sure there is one in the terminal if not, they can be found not too far from the hotel in downtown. You can also buy them from US suppliers before you depart: Mexico SIM Card. SIM Cards to Travel Mexico www.mexicosimcard.com T-Shirts - XL get saggy, we prefer M or L so they stretch over the chair and hold form. T-shirts are nice to put over the backs of your lounge chair - its marks your territory and also helps as the towels often slip off the backs. Buy towel clips or -t-shirts. Some people go with a custom shirt that has their screen-name on it or other fun sayings.
We're coming from the UK so will have to buy a sim once in Mexico, do you know how much data you get and for how much? Cheers

IDareyou is right, you can buy a Simcard from a Telcel shop then buy an Amigo top up card from most convenience stores. I am on a contract for my phone so I'm not familiar with prices for Pay as you go. I think it would depend on your usage, you might find that paying the hotel for Internet would work out cheaper if you're not using it much. Especially if it's a one off thing and you don't intend to use the sim card on a future trip and you are only there for a week or two.
I hated the t shirt thing. One big group went on a Boobs Cruise and that lasts the whole day. They still put shirts on chairs. Maybe not all the group did but a bit of them did. maybe they had them for if people they met could use them. not sure. I know if it bothered us that bad we could do it too but we were with a group of about 10 people and they would get to the pool early enough and get 2 or 3chairs but were staying at pool. We all used them to put our bags on because we all pretty much stayed in pool. And if someone wanted to lay out we had 2 or 3 chairs.. But I noticed when we went that most t shirt chairs rarely were used. Not putting anyone down however its just my personal opinion.
What is this "Google" and "Bing" that you speak of? Might just get the hotels wifi every other day as its only to chat to the kids via Facebook chat etc. Totally agree about shirts on chairs plus the same can be said about towels, it's the people at fault who are inconsiderate not the poor old t-shirts
