I'm seriously considering booking 4 nights at Temptations as a surprise trip for my wife in mid-september. I've looked at lots of online reviews, and there are a surprising number complaining about the "Swingers", or "watch out for the swingers", or whatever. Here's the deal, my wife and I are, for lack of a less 70's-sleazy-polyester-and-gold-chains term, swingers ourselves. So, from the perspective of a couple who would be showing up hoping to actually find that sort of activity, what are the positives from that point of view? I understand that the occupancies are generally still low in mexico, but generally speaking, what kind of scene are we in for if we show up there? All info is greatly appreciated!
TR is not and never has been a swingers club. I think you'll find more swingers that you would a normal club but it's definitely not Hedo. You shouldn't have a hard time finding someone to play with and for the most part shouldn't get any issues being open about it. The resort is filled with mostly Swayers (people who like to flirt and be openly sexual but aren't swingers)
"swayers", that's funny! Never heard that term before. Now if they could only come up with a less loaded term than swingers... Yeah, looked into hedo, but it's significantly more expensive, plus the flights wouldn't allow us to spend as much time there as if we went to cancun.
dasdf We were there at the beginning of the month. It was exactly what I expected. We couldve played if we wanted to but instead just enjoyed the view.
YOu should book a night or two at Desire. It is located 45 minutes south of Cancun. It is a nudist, swinger resort. You will find what your looking for there. We go about once a year and have a great time. Not all guests are swingers but you will find that kind of crowd there.
It's definatley still very much a swingers resort. One of the biggest swingers site www.sdc.com have weekly trips there plus the vacation section of the site shows loads going to Desire. Way too expensive from the UK tho sadly x
If you're looking just to swing then hedo is probably your best bet... but if Maybe hooking up with ok with you guys then we think you'll have the best time at TR. There's a reason why it probably has the highest return customer base in Mexico. I'd be surprised if there was a resort higher.
sfs We wouldve went to Desire but it was booked solid for the nights we were there. Yes Desire is very much a swingers paradise.
