A definite sign of the economic times. SO much weaker than years past. Some good ones, but some God awful ones. Movie trailers as always had me very excited (Transformers 2, GI Joe, Land of the Lost, UP) but all in all, quite disappointed....your reactions?
Oh and my pick for best commercial may have to be the Polamalu Mean Joe Greene spinoff or the one where the punched the koala in the face :lol:
I dunno... the Bridgestone (Mr. PotatoHead) one was pretty funny. I agree though, the commercials were a little tamer this year. On the up side though, the Doritos commercial (Free Doritos) made by the Southern Indiana guys won the Doritos contest hence winning them a cool million. They beat out ad execs from LA & NY, so that was pretty cool in my book.
economy in a recession, jobs being slashed and people being laid off by the thousands and we are spending 3 million dollars on a 30 second ad (and on products we already know and buy every day without having to be reminded) is it really necessary?!?!
Definite disappointment with the commercials. The Dortios and the Koala i found to be the funniest, though.
