Any ladies out there have any preferable sunless tanner lotion? Mary has been doing some tanning in the tanbed, however, due to fair skin, she is only good for about 3 sessions. She normally uses sunless tanner. However, this is her first poolbar/sunless tanner experience. We realize that we are not young anymore and can't nuke our skin like we use to!! Thanks all!! 2 DAYS LEFT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would stay in the shade by the pool bar, wear a hat and lots of sunscreen. Sunless tanning lotion won't keep you from getting burnt just makes you skin less white looking. I really like the Jergens lotion with a little sunless tanner but it takes about a week to work.
We will definately be hanging by the poolbar in the shade during the peak of the day. Spf 50 for sure!! (Mary likes to look tan) Me........I am just a fat white guy that likes to drink!! lol I hope I will fit in.............
I'm naturally dark skinned and tan very easily and I still wear a 45 the 1st few days, being burnt is not on my schedule or high on my list for vacation! I wouldn't do the sunless tanning stuff, with the chemicals from the pool, different water down there, it might be a waste of $. I agree lots of sunscreen, wear a hat and dont forget the ears and feet w/sunscreen!!! lol....as far as fitting in as the big boy that likes to drink.....my hubby is famous there for the WI beer gut, pasty white alcoholic! No worries at this place!!
Thanks for the tips! ...............and it sounds like I will fit right in with the BIG boys! ...............er.....a......we're talking bellys here!
Greg don't worry I will be the fair skinned, beer bellied, drunk Irish man at the pool when you get there
At one our businesses we offer Sunless spray tans using High Volume Low Pressure (HVLP) unit. We hand spray each client in about 3 to 5 minutes. It last about 7 days and looks completely natural. So I can give you some facts on it here. Your problem with using sunless lotion or spray tan is most of it will come off from being in a pool as much as you will be on vacation. Also with drying yourself off over and over will effect the tan life. If you try to reapply every day your going to look orange and blotchy. On top of it most sunscreen contains indegredints that will usually destroy a sunless tan when you try to touch it up. Mostly because the sunscreen doesn't come off completely in the shower and the resdue left behind won't let the DHA in sunless lotion react to your dead skin sells to give yourself the tan look. So then some areas it reacts with your skin and other areas it doesn't. You'll look funny. Bottom line get a professional hand sprayed sunless tan a day before you go (no spray booth tan/to many problems can occur). Depending on the solution they use it should give you a nice tan for the first few days down there and by then the sun will give you a nice tan. When you get out of the pool the first day or two just pat dry yourself off with a towel. Anymore questions feel free to ask. Nick and Renee
I guess they are probably already at BBG, but I'll chime in anyway Before every vacation or special event, I go to the tanning salon for a "Mystic Tan" (sunless) session. That's where you walk into the booth with nothing on & get thoroughly sprayed- front & back (like Ross in that old episode of Friends). I swear by it. And I really don't lose much color in the pool. Looks very natural & I look very tan that way. I also use Neutrogena Micro-Mist sunless tanning spray (in an aerosol can) at home when I want to do it myself. Also looks natural & good. I like this one b/c the spray can works at any angle. Good luck all! Kelli
