your best bet, book all by yourself. Student travel companies force you into paying for a party package which means you HAVE TO go where they go that night, they pack about 10 busses full of people, you have to wait in ridiculously long lines, can barely get a drink and are constantly getting tangled with loads of people, it's a disaster. They also charge an arm and a leg for these packages, so I would definitely book by yourself, do what you want and when you want whilst down there.

    Here is what we found.
The last two years my friend and I travelled through Studentcity.
STS advertises that the Oasis Cancun is their headquarters but everything there is Studentcity. They beat STS's pricing and hooked us up with all the parties and clubs.
My friend is going again this year through Studentcity...his name is Adrian Pretsel...join his group of Aussies going through Studentcity for the 3rd time. Email him at: a.pretsel@hotmail.com
Wish I could go for my second trip this year...but I have to work! Damn!
