I imagine you all know that tropical storm Ernesto is heading this way.Keep you eye on it on the National Hurricane Center website..........time to buy candles and batteries for the torch.
This one could yet fool us: we are at the very edge, now, of an enormous storm system and, at this moment, are being lashed by wind driven rain. Though the center of Ernesto is still far out to sea, Chetumal, to the south, is under a hurricane warning and nothing would be easier than for this storm to turn just a little further north.... As long as we avoid a direct hit, Im happy. Still looks good for us, as he is gearing even more south-west. (The projected path, that is.)
