steve!, any thoughts on boobs cruises when ttr closses down?

    Current thoughts are we will continue whenever we have enough people in Cancun. The Marina is not affected by the shutdown, so we'd just check in direct at the Marina instead of Paty O.

    The key though is having enough people to run. With the hotel closing, our regulars numbers will decrease and those that are in Cancun will be more scattered. I'm sure we'll have enough when we have CCC groups visiting other places, but when we don't have groups around it's going to be tough to get the numbers.

    I may start using Trip Advisor and other Cancun websites that sell tours to attract people from other hotels, and using tour reps in other hotels. I've not done that so far because I don't want prudes and looky loos diluting the sexiness, it seems I get someone every week contacting me wanting to sell it and I've always turned them down. However, if I make the description sufficiently clear I think it might work, although Trip Advisor may not allow the description and requirements I have in mind. We may also switch to a regular schedule, say every Wednesday (day to be decided). If I do go the Trip Advisor / Hotel Tour Reps / Other websites route I may well kill all that once TTR reopens, depending on how it works out.

    But right now we have another 4 months before the hotel shuts, so no need to rush into any hasty decisions.

    Awesome....hoping it is a smooth transition.. I actually like the weekly idea..makes it easy to plan your vacation knowing what's going on sonyou can plan around it..

    Hi Steve
    6 of us will be at GP for christmas and new years, I think it will be a good idea if you can organise a shuttle from different hotel to the marina and a return after the tour.
    My suggestion for the day lol

    the every 'wednesday' (or similar) idea seems like a good one because then all the 'cool kids' would know about it before hand ...but i can see your point everyone being scattered could be a problem It's a tough decision because i imagine opening it up to a more general market would really hurt the sexiness...it's amazing how many prudes don't realize what prudes they are until they are actually exposed to people like us ;)
    Is sailing from near the two Desires short term an option at all?....you might get some Breathless traffic that way (although i imagine most Breathless folks will fall into the 'not realizing how prudish they are' category.

    As much as people LOVE the Boobs Cruise - it's the highlight of the whole trip for many - I think they would find a way to get to whatever dock you choose to sail from. They'll make the effort to get there, and there are hordes of taxi drivers outside every hotel willing to help. I know we would definitely do it. No question about it for us.
