    Hi everyone.

Im really finding it hard(for some odd reason!) to encounter regular steel pots and pans :(

In Cancun there seems to be a fascination with Teflon/non-stick and aluminum crap.

Now, Im NOT looking for the Gourmet, up class stuff that goes up to and beyond 1000 pesos - just regular pots and pans that are NOT Teflon and/or aluminum.

Yes, have been to Wal Mart, Costco, Sams, Soriana etc... I have found some in these places, but only in sets.

Stand alone, decent quality steel pots and pans is what Im desperately after :)

Any tips and suggestions are welcomed.

    Cheers`n`beers.

Telebodega, believe it or not, has a fairly deep inventory of pots.

We were recently at the one on the extension of Tulum, next to the soccer stadium. Walk straight in past the stoves and washers towards the stairs and televisions. Look to your left. All kinds of pots and pans in sets and individual on the shelves against the wall.
