We are a couple going to temptations from 24/2-2014to 11/3-2014,should we be concerned about this spring breaker problem?,or maybe its not a problem!,as we are from uk its not something we are familiar with,any info would be well received. THANKS. :bandit:
Well, just being honest here, every year people come on the site after returning from trips to TTR in March complaining about the number of single guys. I think TTR is way better than other resorts at spring break time but just be aware that there will likely be more single packs of guys during this time. People still have wonderful vacations. The typical recommendation if you are going at this time is to just make friends with other couples, band together and likely you won't have any issues but it does change the vibe a little.
TTR isnt really a popular Spring Break hotel, the 21 and up age limit rules a lot of real spring breakers out and also it's too expensive for most in that age group. Although you may find many teachers and college staff enjoying their spring break there! You do tend to get some groups of guys at that time of year (largely from the UK) but they are not true spring breakers, more likely in their late twenties with jobs. I expect they have seen an MTV documentary about Spring Break in Cancun with tons of hot college cuties and then expect they've hit the jackpot when they find a sexy themed hotel in Cancun at Spring Break time. It doesn't quite work like that!
agree with being honest, the single guys last year in march got worse with each and every night. (3/5 - 3/12) We met friends in cabo in 2011 that were "members" of TTR had done cancun quite a few years, they said they were never going back as march got too out of hand for them. We didnt head their warnings and 2 years later (after no Cabo TTR) we tried Cancun. It didnt ruin our vacation but it was one of the low points in the vacation. the fact that women had to take physical action to keep single guys off of them was not cool..
you ask a lot and don't tell a lot First , what is your age group how many in your group The gender of the people in your group What do you expect in a vacation ?? Do you want to party every night with different people ?? Do you want to sit and suntan all day? Whats bad for you may be great for someone else Your questions will be better answered with more info
its our opinion that there is aholes in every situation and everywhere you go and adding alcohol just seems to intensify the situation...Now we are not saying that singles guys can be the only problem in this area but some of them sure give the rest a bad name..our advice is not to worry about it and go have a good time,if someone gets out of hand be polite and ask them to leave you alone if they continue the hotel security is usually not far away and it becomes their problem Just have fun !! Go in with the attitude that you and every one else is there to have fun and cut loose meet as many people as possible including singles most are very respectful and a blast to party with and do understand that No means No
