Anybody ever do this? Does it work? Is it worth it? Three Chicago whiteys are headed to Cancun in March and I hate getting off the plane looking like "Powder" I plan on tanning in beds, the regular way like 2-3 days a week, starting a month before I leave, but I still was going to do this right before I leave. (If it's worth it)
I heard on E! just this week that Mariah Carey has some spray-on formula that includes 24 carat gold dust  She does usually look somewhat "golden" at her appearances ...
K ~ I don't think it's worth it. You'll be fine with just going to the tanning bed. They should give you a nice base tan. Never done the spray though.
a spray tan looks nice. will only last for 5 - 7 days and by day 6 will look blotchy esp under arms, around elbows and behind knees wehre your body tends to sweat more if you dont exfoliate enough. it does not offer you any sun protection like a tan from a tanning bed would. for this purpose i woudlnt recomend it. for a wedding or some special occasion i would
I agree with Angie. Use the tanning beds and you'll be happy with that I think. Even though the spray tans do not have any SPF in them, I actually find that I don't tan naturally (from the sun or tan beds) as well when the tanning spray is on my skin. Maybe it's just me, but I really feel like it blocks the rays!
A spray tan lasts as long as your dead skin does. Once your bodt sheds it's dead skin the tan fades. If you wanna get tanned for Cancun I would do the real tanning, that way your skin is prepared for the CancuN sun, rather than just looking tanned. Just my opinion..
a buddy of mine went to florida last summer and he spray tanned before, thinking it would repel the sun in a way. He came back red as a lobster and skin poisoning on his arms and chest, it was pretty gross.....I reccomend a tanning bed before you go if anything
