One of the other threads got me to thinking... I wonder what percentage of people who have, who are, or who are thinking about a "split-trip," meaning a trip where they start out at one resort, and end at the other one... Prefer to do it one way or the other? End at party-time TTR, or lean back before going home in the relaxing Jacuzzi's of either Desire?
For us, we like to end at TTR. Two reaons, one is mine, the other is Stacia's. Stacia's" I want to make sure that my airport memory flashbacks are of the get-crazy, party-time, shake your butt and flash your titties atmosphere of TTR. Mine: I like to start the trip getting nekkid right out the gate. That, to me, is the signal that this dumb-ass is NOT at work. Bam! So, DRM works for that, Pearl, too. Also, I find that Stacia is Much more "adventurous" with her outfits (translation, they get even smaller, more see through, and she starts taking parts of them off earlier in the evening) after she's already been... ahh... conditioned by Desire.
Having not yet been to Desire not sure our vote should even be counted. Have heard both from different folks. We first thought Desire first followed by TTR but are recently thinking maybe TTR first followed by Desire. Was trying to decide for Halloween trip but it has been decided for us because Desire RM is sold out the week after Halloween from what we have been told by friends. I think we have to try both a couple of times before we can cast an educated vote.
We should have a pretty good understanding of which is better after August as we are doing both. We are doing TTR before Desire, and then Desire before TTR. TTR August 12-16th, Desire 16-20th, TTR 20-25th. Couldn’t decide which way would be better, so we are experimenting. We should know which way is better for future reference.
We have done this a couple of times. Both TTR then Desire. Our thought is, when starting vacation we are excited and ready to get our party on at TTR. Then slow down a LITTLE bit at Desire. I can’t imagine having the nekked on at Desire then going to TTR and play the game with the clothes police. Love both place for different reasons.
I know what would happen with us if we were to split a trip between two resorts. We’d be hanging with the coolest people on earth and be bummed we were leaving for another resort. For us...it’s the people who make the trip, so we’ll always just book our week and love each day there!
We are doing a few days at DRM then 12 at TTR, this is our first time at DRM. We thought that if DRM doesn't live up to the hype then we know TTR will be epic so we won't be going home sad as it's a long ass miserable flight to the UK.
